We have been fortunate in our relationships: this Committee has brought together many incredible people with a common interest in protecting our river resources so that all may continue to enjoy them. This page on our website is a tribute to some of the wonderful people that we count ourselves privileged to have known. They are greatly missed.
Ken Secor, pictured to the left laughing with fellow Committee members John Little and Mike Manahan, was an active member on our Committee from 2010 until his passing. We miss his quick wit, his direct way of asking the tough questions, and his skill with photography.
Jim Starr was an active champion for his community. He served for his students, neighbors, and our rivers. A Committee member from 2011 until his passing, Jim added great positive energy to our Committee; we still miss the smile and the cheer that he brought to each and every meeting, and to events like the Snowshoe Along The River tour pictured here.
