About The Event

Join us for final installment of our 2023 Seminar Series with Carey Hengstenberg as she walks us through some rock history of the Cold Hollow Mountains! We will be discussing the wonders of paleogeography,  the subdiscipline within the geosciences that studies the physical and biological geography of the geologic past, some unique rocks in our Cold Mountains region, and focus on the context of how these rocks came to be! Join us for our Committee meeting following our seminar series to learn more about UMATR. To learn more about our Seminar Series, visit our website at www.umatrwildandscenic.org/online-seminar-series. We hope to see you there!
